In 2021, Afya Baltimore Inc. (ABI) launched A Promise & A Pathway: Our 5-Year Strategic Plan. One of our commitments is to provide teachers, leaders and staff members opportunities to learn and grow professionally and as human beings. Through this personal growth and exploration, we believe, our staff members will be energized and inspired.
To support this endeavor, we created the Faculty Fund in 2022. In our inaugural year, with the support of our board and other fundraising, we awarded six staff members across our two schools a total of $17,592 in grants.
This year on Giving Tuesday, we are grateful for your donation to help grow the 2023 Faculty Fund! Our grant application for teachers and staff will be released in January and projects will be funded in time for summer. We are seeking to raise $20,000. Every little bit helps!
