A Tunbridge alumni service project
C.A.S. (Creativity, Activity, Service) Project for Tunbridge Alumni: Revamp & Redesign the Teacher's Lounge
Hello Tunbridge community! This is Madison Mohan and Melia Scott and we are seniors at Baltimore City College High School and Tunbridge Public Charter School alumni. We started at Tunbridge in the first year it opened in 2010 as 3rd graders, and were the very first 8th grade graduating class in 2016. We have been friends ever since!
Part of the requirements of the IB (International Baccalaureate) Program at Baltimore City College High School is the C.A.S. project. It calls for a group of students to get together to design a project that incorporates creativity, activity, and/or service.
We have decided to give back to Tunbridge with our CAS project because our time spent there and our relationships with our teachers was so special! After surveying teachers and discussing the project with Principal Adams during the past year, we decided to redesign and revamp the teacher's lounge on the second floor of the Tunbridge elementary school.
We hope to add a couch, coffee table, and make the space a more aesthetically pleasing and comfortable place for teachers to use when they need it.
We aim to raise $1000 to go towards this project. If COVID-19 relents, we plan to execute our designs over the summer!
Thank you for your support of our C.A.S. project to improve the Tunbridge teacher's lounge!
