Support our Family Emergency Fund during COVID-19

Our principals, teachers, and counselors from Tunbridge and The Belair-Edison School have been connecting with parents, grandparents, and students to identify families that are in need of essential items during the COVID-19 pandemic. Afya Baltimore Inc. has set up a Family Emergency Fund to support these families.

Phase I: $7500 | Our first priority with the Family Emergency Fund was to provide 30 families across our schools with a $25 bag of groceries each weekend for 10 weeks beginning 5/15/20. Each bag includes staples like bread, eggs, chicken, and milk. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the ABI Schools community, we reached our Phase I goal in just 24 hours on #GivingTuesdayNow and our school teams have begun safely delivering to families.

Phase II: Additional $7500 | Phase II of this initiative, which increases our fundraising goal to $15,000, will pay for an additional $25 bag of household and hygiene necessity items such as diapers, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. Please consider a $25 donation now to help us buy a bag of staples for a family at one of our schools. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!

Our team of principals and school staff continues to survey our families to determine how we can best meet their dietary and household needs, as well as any additional areas of direct support they may require. The ABI Schools Family Emergency Fund will consider additional ways to help as funds are available.

Meet our Support Team | Staff from our three campuses safely deliver items to families.
